Of The Sun is the solo alternative metal project of Patrick Duvall, based in Reichertshofen, Germany. Originating in Myrtle Beach, SC, and relocating to Austin, TX, before landing overseas, this project is an exercise in growth and dedication. Creating the debut album, AM RADIO, in 2010, working through constant lineup changes until finally releasing the follow-up EP, BEFORE A HUMAN PATH, in 2017, and experiencing a full collapse immediately upon the release of BAHP, the essence of the band’s energy and persona was left in the last remaining member’s hands. Crafting the bones of a new LP, PATTERN REBIRTH, before expatriating to Bavaria, Patrick collaborated remotely with ex-members of The Faceless and a studio in South America since 2020 in order to complete it. PATTERN REBIRTH is set for release in autumn, 2022.
