Long Island metalcore veterans Vision Of Disorder have begun working on new material, with vocalist Tim Williams revealing that the band have started holding writing sessions together in the studio.
Williams shared the update on October 22 via Instagram, suggesting the group’s recent live activity may be paving the way for a fresh burst of creativity. The band have played a pair of shows in 2026, continuing their pattern of occasional live appearances in recent years.
Guitarist Matt Baumbach has also returned to the fold for live performances, potentially helping reignite the group’s creative chemistry.
Williams shared the following message about the first studio session:
“Things are happening … first day in the studio – starting some ‘live’ writing sessions.. that’s right kids – we still actually write/play in a room together. imagine that… @visionofdisorder…”
There is no word yet on whether the sessions will lead to a new album or when any new material might arrive. Vision Of Disorder’s most recent full-length release remains 2015’s ‘Razed To The Ground’, which arrived through Candlelight Records.
For now, the band’s studio update offers a promising sign for fans who have been waiting for new music from the long-running group.
