Riven by Ravens is an American hard rock band hailing from California’s Central Valley. A progressive rock project with some melodic metal tendencies formed in 2022 by Brian Havrilla & Paul Wilson.
Both former, founding members of Ghost Army, Brian and Paul have been writing and performing music for decades. Shared influences ranging from rock giants such as Tool, Architects, Chevelle, Deftones, A Perfect Circle, Slipknot, Currents, Nine Inch Nails and Rise Against to name a few.
The band’s debut, 14 title track album ‘Venerate’, is set to be released in January 2024 with their first single release date set for August 4th, 2023. A beautiful, uniquely crafted progressive album full of aggressive, angst ridden, earth pounding vocals, heavy guitars, massive, precise drums and thick bass layers all sprinkled with soft piano and keys. Coming together to create a triumphant, beautiful, massive album. With most tracks ranging from 5-7 minutes, Riven By Raven’s debut will be hard to miss.
