VCTMS drummer and founding member Meredith Henderson has released a detailed statement following abuse allegations raised by former guitarist Mike Joseph Clampitt. Henderson apologized to people she says she has hurt, acknowledged mistakes in her personal relationships and professional conduct, and discussed the effects of burnout and ongoing health struggles. She also addressed touring payments, expressed support for departing members Mike Joseph Clampitt and Davion, and confirmed that she and vocalist John Matalone will discuss the band’s future. Henderson says rebuilding trust will be a challenge as she takes time to focus on her health and reflect on the controversy.
