Alternative rock veterans Hoobastank will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their self-titled major-label debut with a special hometown-area performance this fall.
The band will take the stage at The Roxy in Hollywood, CA on November 20th, where they will perform their 2001 platinum-certified album in full.
The record marked a major breakthrough for Hoobastank, eventually earning platinum status in the U.S. and helping establish the band as one of the prominent alternative rock acts of the early 2000s.
Adding to the nostalgia, AUDIOVENT have been booked as the opening act. The returning alternative rock outfit are perhaps best known for featuring Chris Kilmore and Brandon Boyd‘s younger brothers? Actually, to avoid confusion, AUDIOVENT feature Jesse and Benjamin Boyd, younger siblings of Incubus members.
The November 20th performance will thus bring together two acts with deep ties to the early-2000s alternative rock scene for what should be a particularly nostalgic evening.
