Nashville post-hardcore outfit Idle Threat have released a new single titled “Wither Without,” featuring a guest appearance from Silent Planet vocalist Garrett Russell.
The track is the latest preview of the band’s upcoming album ‘You’ll Forget The Sun’, which is scheduled for release on May 08th through Tooth & Nail Records.
Describing the emotional weight behind the song, the band explained:
“‘Wither Without’ is about watching someone you love slowly decay before your eyes, and the continuous fight that it takes to stay by their side when everything in you wants to look away.”
They continued:
“It’s about carrying on their memory when they’ve lost their own.”
Russell’s contribution is one of several guest appearances set for the album. Previously released single “In Tandem” featured Haste The Day vocalist Stephen Keech.
Additional collaborators include Christian Nielsen of Meadows, who appears on the title track, and Aaron Stone of My Epic, who guests on “Meet Me There.”
With multiple high-profile features and another emotionally driven single now out, Idle Threat continue building anticipation for ‘You’ll Forget The Sun.’
