Latin nü-metal mainstays Ill Niño are offering fans an early look at their brand-new vocalist ahead of his official reveal next week. The unidentified frontman has stepped in as the latest lineup change for the group and will be leading both their upcoming summer tour and forthcoming studio album, which recently entered the recording phase.
A preview clip shared by the band finds this new vocalist taking on “God Save Us”, a standout from their 2001 debut Revolution Revolución. You can watch the performance below.
Alongside new material, this vocalist will also appear on the band’s upcoming single “Born To Suffer”, which is expected to drop in the near future. Before that track arrives, Ill Niño will be reintroducing the new member through three more performances of classic tracks from their discography.
Notably, former fill-in vocalist Tommy Vext (ex-Bad Wolves) has shown support for his successor, commenting on the band’s video post: “Yo my man killed it.”
Stay tuned for the official identity of Ill Niño’s new frontman and the upcoming release of “Born To Suffer.”
