Ill Niño are shifting their plans for the coming months, postponing their Latin American tour while turning their attention toward completing their long-awaited new studio album.
The Latin nü-metal group had originally planned the trek as a celebration of the 25th anniversary of their debut album, ‘Revolution Revolución’. However, in a statement shared on November 6, the band confirmed that the shows have now been moved to May 2027, allowing them additional time to finish their next record.
The upcoming effort will serve as the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Till Death, La Familia’, making it the band’s first full-length album in more than a decade. Ill Niño are currently targeting a February 2027 release, with plans to support the record through a worldwide touring campaign later in the year.
The band addressed the postponement and their revised schedule in the following statement:
“We are very sorry to inform everyone that we will have to postpone the LATM tour to May 2027. The 2 bands we bring with us for the new dates, are very strong Nu-Metal groups!! All tickets purchased will be valid for the new dates.
ILL NIÑO hasn’t released a new album in many years and we want to focus on finishing the album completely and releasing February 2027, and promoting it next year with a world tour.
May 2027:
Friday, 21st – Lima, PER
Saturday, 22nd – Santiago, CH
Domingo, 23 – B. Aires, ARG
Martes, 25 – Asunción, PAR
We will see ourselves stronger than ever in 2027. Thank you for the support.”
All previously purchased tickets will reportedly remain valid for the rescheduled performances. The band also teased that two other nu-metal groups will join them for the revised dates, although those acts have not yet been identified.
Work on the new album dates back to the summer of 2025, when Ill Niño first began tracking material for the release. The group had previously been developing the ‘IllMortals’ EP series, though that project ultimately failed to materialize following a contentious split with former vocalist Marcos Leal.
Since then, the band have brought Tommy Roulette aboard as their frontman. With the new album now taking priority, Ill Niño are looking toward 2027 for both its release and their return to the road.
