Ill Niño have officially canceled their scheduled European summer festival appearances for August 2025, citing a personal family health matter. The band shared a statement via social media over the weekend, explaining:
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Unfortunately, we have exhausted all options, but have to cancel our August 2025 European Summer Festival tour due to a personal family health matter beyond our control.
Family first, always.
Thank you for your understanding and support. We look forward to seeing you all again soon in 2026, when we come back for a full headline tour and various summer festivals.“

The news comes just days after the Latin nü-metal outfit wrapped their recent U.S. tour with Powerman 5000, (hed)p.e., Priest, and The Great Alone — a run that marked their first shows with new vocalist Tommy Roulette (Jynx, etc.).
Adding to the weekend’s developments, Ill Niño also reunited onstage with their former touring frontman Tommy Vext (ex-Bad Wolves, etc.) during their August 1st performance at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA. Vext, who previously stepped in following the band’s split with Marcos Leal, joined the current lineup for a surprise performance of “How Can I Live” — a throwback to their 2003 classic.
Fan-filmed footage of the mini-reunion has surfaced and can be viewed below.
