Technical deathcore extremists Infant Annihilator have officially confirmed that their long-gestating new album will arrive this year, ending years of speculation from fans eager for new material.
The update comes directly from vocalist Dickie Allen, who shared an in-depth message on X on January 14. While the record is still being finalized, Allen made it clear that the project is nearing completion and that the band is taking extra care to perfect it before release.
“There’s nothing I wanna do more than show everyone new IA, I’ve been listening to the last mix for so long and I just wanna share it with everyone!
BUT, I trust Aaron and Eddie to make what is already a masterpiece even better. This album is their baby and I’m just happy I get to be apart of it. They wrote all the lyrics and did all the patterns for me, all I had to do is have the voice they needed. Extremely grateful to be apart of an album of this magnitude and for me this is the best vocal performance I’ve ever done.
NEW IA 2026, NO QUESTIONS, ITS CUMMING!”
Allen’s comments suggest the album has been largely completed for some time, with guitarist Eddie Pickard and drummer Aaron Kitcher continuing to refine the final mixes. His remarks also highlight the collaborative nature of the project, with Allen stepping into a fully realized framework crafted by the band’s core members.
The upcoming release will mark Infant Annihilator’s first full-length album since The Battle Of Yaldabaoth, which arrived in 2019 and has since become a landmark release within the extreme metal and deathcore scenes.
