British deathcore outfit Ingested have officially parted ways with vocalist Josh Davies amid disturbing allegations made against him. According to reports, the women involved sought law enforcement assistance, though the authorities did not intervene.
In an overnight statement, the band confirmed the termination:
“Effective immediately, Josh Davies is no longer a member of Ingested. Adam Mercer will be handling vocal duties on the upcoming Bodysnatcher tour.”
Davies had joined the band in 2024, stepping in after the departure of founding vocalist Jason Evans. His dismissal comes just days after the group announced their first studio album with him, Denigration, scheduled for a May 8, 2026 release.
No public response has yet been issued by Davies regarding the allegations. For the upcoming tour supporting Bodysnatcher, vocal duties will be filled by Adam Mercer, formerly of A Wake In Providence and most recently with DeathStroke.

He’s a predator. S/a underage and under the influence women. Multiple allegations from multiple people.
Ingested were aware and did nothing to stop it.
Probably unlikely, as he’s only been in the band a couple of years. Sounds like a lot of the accusation stem from a long time ago
Christopher Clark yea but dude was doing merch for them on tour as well for years so its not a good look for these guys imo.
Man I just picked up their jersey to get signed when I see them in May. Wtf Josh. Oh well, hopefully I can catch the rest of the boys
