Iron Maiden Share Details For UK ‘Eddfest’ 50th Anniversary Celebration

Iron Maiden have revealed additional details for their upcoming UK 50th anniversary celebration, officially dubbed ‘Eddfest’.

The two-day event will take place July 10th and 11th at Knebworth Park, transforming the historic grounds into what the band describes as a full “Maiden World” experience. Previously announced support for the Saturday main stage includes The Darkness, The HU, Airbourne, and The Almighty.

What Is ‘Eddfest’?

Originally promoted as the band’s only UK show of 2026, the event has expanded into a fully themed festival experience. Fans can expect 48 hours of live music, interactive areas, bars, and exclusive attractions centered around Maiden’s iconic mascot Eddie.

Among the highlights is the Infinite Dreams Museum Experience, a walk-through display of stage props and rare relics inspired by the Sunday Times bestselling book Infinite Dreams. The exhibit is being billed as a completely unique opportunity to view seldom-seen memorabilia up close.

The festival grounds will also feature “Maidenville,” which includes:

• The largest Eddie’s Dive Bar to date
• A second stage for additional performances
• The “Unfair Funfair” with Eddie-themed rides and games
• Eddie’s Emporium merchandise area
• Interactive experiences and themed bars throughout the site

Friday night campers will receive early access to parts of the site, including the museum experience and a full evening of live entertainment on the Maidenville stage.

The Saturday headline performance will feature Maiden’s “Run For Your Lives” set, marking what is being promoted as their final UK appearance until at least 2028.

Band & Promoter Comments

Manager Rod Smallwood explained that after the band’s major UK shows last year, they wanted something entirely different for 2026 — opting for Knebworth Park to allow space for a fully immersive experience.

Promoters Stuart Galbraith and Alan Day, known for their work with Sonisphere, described the weekend as a “celebration of the Eddie-verse,” emphasizing the scale of the museum exhibit, themed funfair, and expanded Dive Bar concept.
