KELLY OSBOURNE Fires Back at Becky Lynch Over Controversial Ozzy Osbourne Comment on WWE ‘Raw’

A promo from Irish WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch has sparked controversy following last night’s (August 25th) episode of ‘Raw’ in Birmingham, UK. Playing her heel persona, Lynch took aim at the city while invoking the name of the late legendary Ozzy Osbourne.

During her in-ring segment, she stated:

“I am not wrestling in Birmingham. Yeah, the only good thing that came out of here died a month ago. But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the good sense to move to LA, a proper city. Because if I lived in Birmingham I’d die too.”

The comments quickly drew a response from Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, who slammed Lynch on social media, writing:

“@beckylynch.fan11 you are a disrespectful dirtbag! Birmingham would not piss on you if you were on fire. #birminghamforever shame on the @wwe for allowing such things to be said about my father and his home!!!”

It appears Kelly Osbourne may have mistakenly directed her criticism at a fan account rather than Becky Lynch’s official Instagram, though her message’s intent clearly remains the same. Ozzy Osbourne himself had a long-standing connection to WWE and was honored as a celebrity inductee into the organization’s Hall of Fame in 2021.
