GWAR’s 2021 documentary This Is GWAR will get a special screening at Smodcastle Cinemas in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, on August 30th. Kevin Smith, the director, writer, and actor who owns the cinema, will host a Q&A session with the band members following the screening. Smith shared his excitement, saying:
“As a relic of the ‘90s, I’m thrilled to help celebrate these bloody legends who’ve been captivating audiences since the ‘80s! GWAR has not only stayed true to their gruesome roots but also secured their place in music history.”
GWAR’s vocalist, Blöthar The Berserker, also chimed in:
“You ridiculous humans could learn a few things from Kevin Smith. If you’ve seen any of his movies, you probably already have. He wrote the iconic 37 dicks scene (genius), cast Alanis Morissette as God, and is the King of Jorts. He’s also GWAR-approved. We’re stoked to get stoned and hang out at his theater, drinking watered-down soda and answering questions from our pimply-faced legion of fans.”

He wont let the band speak. He loves the sound of his own voice. Teenage me loved KS. 44 year old me finds him insufferable
Mike Judge should be the host!
Mat Mills would be cool, but it’s at Kevin’s theater
The Mosh Network If Kevin Smith is the nerd we think he is, he would absolutely love Beavis and Butthead hosting GWAR at his theater. lol.
Mat Mills makes way more sense
