Australian psych rock experimentalists King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are diving further into electronic territory with their upcoming 28th studio album, ‘Alien Metal’.
The band have built the forthcoming effort around the capabilities of a Eurorack synthesizer, expanding upon the electronic and EDM elements they’ve explored during their previously staged ‘rave shows’.
That direction is now on full display with the newly released single “Kill For The Steel,” which serves as the latest preview of the record. An exact release date for ‘Alien Metal’ has yet to be announced.
