Lauren Babic Drops Debut Solo EP ‘Too Much and Never Enough’, Shares Video for “Sanctuary”

Canadian alt-metal powerhouse Lauren Babic has officially released her debut solo EP, Too Much and Never Enough, marking a major milestone in her already accomplished career. Known for her dynamic vocal range and fronting bands like Red Handed Denial, CrazyEightEight, and Skylimit, Babic has built a massive online following—now taking her artistry to new heights with this four-track offering.

Reflecting on the release, Babic shared:

“This EP has been a huge turning point for me musically and personally. I’ve been an independent artist for my whole career, and this release is proof that you can do anything if you work hard, believe in your work, and carry forward with kindness. This project wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of my team and my friends, and I couldn’t thank them enough for joining me on this journey.”

Alongside the EP, Babic has dropped a video for “Sanctuary,” the opening track and final single from the record. Speaking on the song, she added:

“Sanctuary is the first song on the EP, and the last song to be heard by listeners. I think it’s the perfect summary of what each song on the EP represents—melody, heaviness, fierceness, and versatility. I hope you all enjoy my EP, this is just the beginning.”
