Left To Suffer are answering their detractors with a new dose of nü-metal-inflected deathcore. The Atlanta outfit have just unleashed “STFU,” a new single arriving ahead of their forthcoming album, ‘Unwelcome Guest.’
With the record still more than a month away, “STFU” finds Left To Suffer taking aim at those who have accused the band of selling out or losing their direction.
Guitarist/vocalist Peter Higgs explained the motivation behind the track:
“Some people think we sold out. Others think we lost the plot. So we did what anyone else from Atlanta would do and tuned up to Drop B, wrote some nu metal riffs, and talked a whole lot of shit. This one’s for everyone who decided they knew what Left To Suffer was supposed to be better than we did.”
‘Unwelcome Guest’ is due out October 9 through Fearless Records.
Left To Suffer will also hit the road this fall alongside Dying Fetus, Sanguisugabogg, Crowbar and Deterioration for an extensive North American run.
