Linkin Park have officially released a teaser for their upcoming film ‘Unshatter’, offering the first glimpse at what appears to be a project that goes beyond a traditional concert film.
The nu-metal group had already begun subtly teasing the project earlier this week through branded merchandise labels and other promotional hints, but the newly released teaser confirms the title and direction of the project.
Within the footage, a clapperboard briefly appears listing a working title of “LP doc”, suggesting the film will incorporate documentary-style elements alongside live performance material.
The project is directed by Joe Hahn, the band’s turntablist and longtime visual director, who has previously helmed many of the group’s iconic music videos.
Live concert footage featured in ‘Unshatter’ was recorded during Linkin Park’s November 15, 2024 performance at Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Brazil.
Beyond the live material, the film is expected to explore the band’s recent reunion era, including the impact of the death of vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017 and their subsequent return in 2023 with Emily Armstrong.
A worldwide theatrical release is planned, with further details expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Fans can sign up for updates via unshattermovie.com.
