After months of speculation and cryptic teasers, Linkin Park has stormed back into the spotlight with a live-streamed performance that sent shockwaves through their fanbase. The band took this moment to announce their highly-anticipated new album, From Zero, set to drop on November 15, and have announced a handful of show dates.
In a major shakeup, this show marked the debut of their new vocalist, Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara fame. The band also unleashed a brand new track, “The Emptiness Machine”, giving fans a glimpse into the next chapter of their sonic evolution, which is available to hear below as well along with the music video.
This eighth full-length record is a pivotal moment for Linkin Park—a turning point that kicks off a bold new era. From the ground-breaking Hybrid Theory in 2000 to 2017’s deeply personal One More Light, Linkin Park has consistently pushed boundaries, evolving their sound with a fearless commitment to experimentation. Now, with From Zero on the horizon, the band once again stands ready to redefine themselves.
Mike Shinoda offered:
“Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future—embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life. It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans. We are proud of what LINKIN PARK has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.”
