Mathcore outfit Living Weapon have officially announced their upcoming album Death In The Family, set for a digital release on August 14 via Closed Casket Activities, with physical editions expected to follow in September.
The band, which features members of Vein.fm, Fleshwater, and other heavy underground projects, continues to blur the lines between hardcore chaos and experimental intensity on their latest material.
The new record was recorded, produced, and engineered by guitarist Jeremy Martin, while mixing duties were handled by Taylor Young (Twitching Tongues, God’s Hate). To mark the announcement, Living Weapon have dropped the first single and video, “The Leaving Process.”
The video was directed by Eric Richter (Knocked Loose, Dying Wish) alongside the band, delivering a tense and abrasive visual that matches the track’s volatile energy.
