Alternative metal outfit Love Is Noise have unveiled their latest single, “The rain that follows me.”, which is now streaming ahead of the arrival of their upcoming EP ‘The space between happiness and heartache.’.
The new track made its online debut today, September 18th, with the full EP scheduled for release on October 9th.
Vocalist Cameron Humphrey explained that the song explores the emotional weight that can accompany difficult periods, including the pressure of constantly being in the public eye.
“‘the rain that follows me.’ is about the cloud that forms over our heads in difficult times or even everyday life. I’ve had those moments, especially in an industry that forces you to be in the public eye of some sorts. Sometimes the pressure of it all can take its toll.”
Humphrey added that the song ultimately serves as a request to step away from that pressure and appreciate the positive moments in life.
“This song is asking the world to take that pressure away just for a little bit so I/we can enjoy the beauty of life.”
