Malevolence Unveils “If It’s All The Same To You” Video, New Album Where Only The Truth Is Spoken Set For June Release

Groove metalcore band Malevolence is set to release their new album Where Only The Truth Is Spoken on June 20th via their own MLVLTD label and Nuclear Blast Records. To promote the upcoming record, they’ve dropped a music video for the track “If It’s All The Same To You,” directed by DONPROD, which features actor Alan Ford (known for his role in ‘Snatch‘).

The band, who worked with producer Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, All That Remains) on the album, shared their thoughts on the project:

“‘Where Only the Truth Is Spoken‘ is a level up in every sense—musically, lyrically, and visually. This was our first time recording outside the UK, and doing it in LA with Josh Wilbur was fun and refreshing. He’s worked with some of the biggest names in metal, and his approach pushed us to challenge new heights. The production, the songwriting, the videos—everything about this record is bigger, heavier, and more refined.

Everything in Malevolence is, and always has been, a team effort and I feel like everyone really delivered on this record.

It seems that Malevolence’s time on tour with Lamb of God and Mastodon last year has forged some lasting bonds. Malevolence’s Alex Taylor made a guest appearance on Lamb of God’s 20th-anniversary edition of Ashes Of The Wake, released this past August. Now, it’s been revealed that Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe will guest on Malevolence’s upcoming album, appearing on the track “In Spite.”
