Periphery’s Mark Holcomb Voices Multiple Characters In New Espionage RPG ‘Zero Parades: For Dead Spies’

Fresh off the release of Periphery’s new album ‘A Pale White Dot’, guitarist Mark Holcomb has revealed another major creative project outside the band. The musician confirmed that he voices three separate characters in the newly released espionage-focused RPG ‘Zero Parades: For Dead Spies’, available now on PC via Steam.

The new Periphery album arrived last Friday, May 15th, through the band’s own label, 3DOT Recordings, and now Holcomb is expanding further into the gaming world following his previous involvement with Disco Elysium.

Developed by ZA/UM, ‘Zero Parades: For Dead Spies’ is a narrative-driven single-player RPG centered around espionage, political intrigue and investigative role-playing. Players assume the role of disgraced veteran spy Hershel Wilk, also known as “Cascade,” as he navigates covert operations and geopolitical conflict within the city-state of Portofiro.

Holcomb shared the following about his involvement in the game:

“I am so so excited to say that I voiced three characters in Zero Parades, which is out now on PC/Steam! I play Septimus, Oskar Metamoto, and another character that you’ll just have to discover for yourself and see if you can identify 🙂”

He also thanked the studio for bringing him back after his work on ‘Disco Elysium’:

“A heartfelt thank you to @mikeegoodman, @jim_ash and the entire @zaumstudio team for bringing me back on board once again after Disco Elysium and trusting me with several amazing characters in Zero Parades. Working with you all is such an insane honor and you make the job so damn fun.”
