Mastodon have unveiled a new live performance video for their latest single, “Your Ghost Again,” offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at the band’s recent run across Europe and the United Kingdom.
Directed by Errick Easterday (Wage War, Boundaries), the clip features footage captured throughout Mastodon’s summer overseas tour, showcasing the band’s live intensity and life on the road.
The GRAMMY Award-winning progressive sludge metal outfit first released “Your Ghost Again” in early June, with the track serving as a tribute to former guitarist/vocalist Brent Hinds following his departure from the band. The single is widely expected to be the first taste of Mastodon’s upcoming ninth studio album, which will mark the band’s first full-length release without Hinds in the lineup.
Although the group has yet to announce a title or release date for the record, anticipation continues to build as fans await details on the next chapter of Mastodon’s career.
In the meantime, Mastodon will return to North America this fall for a tour alongside Deafheaven and Alcest, with “Your Ghost Again” now accompanied by its new live performance video.
