The details have emerged for the first ‘Mayhem Fest‘ since 2015. Previously, this annual traveling festival was a direct rival to ‘Ozzfest‘, showcasing top artists from heavy metal and hardcore scenes across North America in a day-long tour.
However, the original run of ‘Mayhem Fest‘ ended due to low attendance, band conflicts, and other backstage issues. In 2020, Ash Avildsen and his team announced plans to revive the tour, and now it’s scheduled for October 12th at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA. Although this year’s festival is a one-night event, it is expected to return to the road next summer.
This year’s event features a headline performance by alternative metal sensation Bad Omens, this year’s lineup features Parkway Drive and Architects as main acts. Additionally, Seven Hours After Violet, a new project comprising members from System Of A Down, Left to Suffer, Winds Of Plague, and others, will make their live debut at the event.
