Thrash metal legends Megadeth appear to have a new greatest hits collection on the way, with ‘Fast Hits’ currently scheduled to arrive on vinyl August 21st.
The upcoming release is being advertised as a Walmart exclusive vinyl pressing, with pre-orders currently available through Walmart’s online store. However, as of publication, Megadeth has not made an official announcement regarding the collection or revealed what tracks will be included.
The mysterious release comes as Megadeth continue their final chapter as a band. Vocalist and guitarist Dave Mustaine announced last year that the pioneering thrash outfit would eventually come to an end, with the group currently embarking on the early stages of an extensive farewell tour.
While no official date has been announced for the band’s final performance, Megadeth released their self-titled final studio album in January 2026, marking the closing chapter of their legendary recording career.
More details regarding ‘Fast Hits’, including the track listing and official confirmation from the band, are expected to emerge ahead of its August release date.
