Metallica, one of the biggest names in thrash metal, is set to join the popular video game ‘Fortnite‘. Their integration into the game begins on June 13th, featuring cosmetic items and gameplay elements inspired by the band. These additions will be visible across different aspects of the game, such as ‘Rocket Racing‘ and ‘Lego Fortnite‘.
Players can expect to find various outfits representing each member of the band, available through the game’s season pass. These outfits will be accessible in both the standard battle royale mode and in Lego-style versions.
The highlight of Metallica‘s in-game event in ‘Fortnite‘ is a six-song concert experience called ‘Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury‘. This event, which marks the climax of their presence in the game, will run until August 16th. Players can catch the concert at various times throughout the month, including multiple slots on Saturday, June 22nd.
