Metallica Expand ‘Life Burns Faster’ Sphere Residency To 24 Shows With New 2027 Dates

Demand for Metallica’s upcoming ‘Life Burns Faster’ residency at Sphere has prompted the band to expand the run once again. After initially announcing additional February 2027 performances earlier in the day, the thrash metal legends quickly followed up with yet another round of shows — pushing the residency to 24 total dates.

The newly revealed additions will extend the immersive Las Vegas run into March 2027, marking what the band says will be the final expansion of the residency.

According to the band’s social media announcement:

“This is it—we’re maxing out Life Burns Faster. Four more dates have been added to the run, bringing our upcoming Sphere residency to 24 shows.”

Ticket Demand And Presales

The announcement comes amid intense demand for tickets to the groundbreaking residency. Fans attempting to secure passes have reported extremely long queues, rapid sellouts, and soaring resale prices on secondary markets.

Members of the band’s official fan club were granted early access to presale tickets beginning March 5th at 03:00 PM PST for the February additions, while presales for the newly added March shows will begin March 6th at 07:00 AM PST.
