Ministry have officially entered the final chapter of their career, with the industrial metal pioneers releasing their last studio album, ‘Hate To Go – Take Out Or Delivery’, alongside a new music video for “Crickets.”
The newly released clip serves as the latest visual offering from the band’s farewell record and was directed by Dean Karr, whose previous credits include work with Korn and Ozzy Osbourne.
The album’s arrival comes as Ministry continue their farewell touring plans. Frontman Al Jourgensen has confirmed that the band will bring its career to a close exactly one year from today, with a final performance scheduled for October 30, 2027, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
Jourgensen recently revealed the venue and date for that farewell show, which is expected to feature a lineup of special guests.
Reflecting on the decision to bring Ministry’s run to an end, Jourgensen said:
“I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. I’m amazed at the path that it’s taken, from ‘With Sympathy’ to where we’re at today, and all points in between. It’s been quite a ride, but I’m completely at peace with the fact that it’s done.”
With ‘Hate To Go – Take Out Or Delivery’ now available and the final concert set for next October, Ministry’s farewell era is officially underway.
