Molotov Solution Confirm Deathly Decibel Records Has Canceled Unapproved Vinyl Reissue of ‘The Harbinger’

Last week, Las Vegas deathcore veterans Molotov Solution publicly called out Deathly Decibel Records for announcing a vinyl reissue of their 2009 album The Harbinger—apparently without the band’s knowledge or approval.

The label had acquired the rights directly from Metal Blade Records, bypassing any communication with the band. However, in an update shared via the band’s Instagram Story today, Molotov Solution revealed that Deathly Decibel has since decided to scrap the release.

“@deathlydeciblerecords has been gracious enough to halt the release of The Harbinger vinyl pressing. We greatly appreciate his change of heart on the matter. We didn’t set out to make this a ‘thing’ … it really just means the world to us to have control of our own art. So again, we thank him for his understanding and decision to stop the release.

Thank you all for the support and sorry for those let down by this. Hopefully one day we can release this ourselves.”
