Mr. Bungle have confirmed they still plan to be part of Avenged Sevenfold’s South American run once the trek is rescheduled. The tour was postponed after M. Shadows revealed on September 26th that he is recovering from a vocal fold hematoma, forcing the band to push back their immediate live plans to early 2026.
As openers on that tour, Mr. Bungle have also had to cancel their originally scheduled September and October shows in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico. The band shared the following statement:
“As many of you may have heard, our friends Avenged Sevenfold have had to postpone their tour due to health issues. We were scheduled to join them on several dates across Latin America, and unfortunately, this means we must also cancel our September/October shows in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico.
We’re truly sorry to everyone who bought tickets and made plans to spend time with us. Our South American fans have always shown us so much love, and it hurts not to be there with you right now.
We are already working with Avenged to try and reschedule these shows, and we promise to be back as soon as possible with something special just for you.”
No new dates have been announced yet, but both bands are expected to share an updated schedule once Shadows is cleared to perform.
