Oblivion Choir, the industrial metal outfit featuring former 20 Dead Flower Children vocalist Dennis ‘D-Hauz’ Hogan and ex-(hed)p.e. keyboardist Ken Sachs, have secured a new label home with Pavement Entertainment as they prepare to introduce their first original material.
The trio, also stylized as 0BL1V10N CH01R, recently welcomed guitarist Jason Murray into the lineup. Murray joined the group last month, rounding out its current membership as work continues on a six-track debut EP slated for release sometime in 2027.
The upcoming effort will feature mixing from Amir Derakh, best known for his work with Julien-K and his time in Orgy. While details surrounding the record remain limited, the band have already given listeners an early indication of their musical direction with a newly released cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Sin.”
Originally appearing on Nine Inch Nails’ 1989 debut album Pretty Hate Machine, the track has now been given the Oblivion Choir treatment. The band shared the cover without offering additional commentary, allowing the recording to serve as an introduction to the project’s industrial metal approach.
With a label deal in place, a completed lineup and a debut EP on the horizon, Oblivion Choir are beginning to establish their presence ahead of their first full release.
