Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes and Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante joined forces onstage over the weekend to perform “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight” during the opening ceremony for the VALORANT Champions Grand Finals in Shanghai, China.
The pair delivered the collaborative track alongside Grabbitz, who joined Sykes and LaPlante in recording the song for the latest edition of the competitive gaming championship. The track was created specifically as an anthem for the VALORANT Champions grand finals, bringing together three artists from different corners of the heavy music and electronic music worlds.
The studio version of “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight” arrived approximately one month ago, ahead of the tournament. Its live debut at the Shanghai event featured an elaborate production as part of the grand finals’ opening festivities.
