Ozzy Osbourne & Billy Morrison Debut “Gods Of Rock N Roll” Music Video

Legendary heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne and longtime collaborator Billy Morrison (Billy Idol) have unveiled a revamped version of their 2015 track “Gods”, now reimagined as “Gods Of Rock N Roll.” This new iteration boasts a massive 61-piece orchestra and choir, along with a blistering guest performance from Steve Stevens (Billy Idol).

Speaking with Kerrang!, Osbourne shared the inspiration behind revisiting the track:

“Billy and I wrote ‘Gods Of Rock N Roll’ together in a hotel room while I was touring in South America about 10 years ago. This re-recorded version of the song finally has all the bells and whistles. I told Billy then that it needed an orchestra and a choir, but it took 10 fucking years for him to listen to me!

We filmed the music video with director, Ivo Raza, at NRG Studios in Los Angeles and included everyone involved with the track. The end result combines what was filmed in the studio and the footage shot during the orchestral session in Budapest. I feel the orchestral score has breathed new life into ‘Gods Of Rock N Roll.’ I hope you all like it.”

The newly reworked track is one of several bonus songs featured on the deluxe edition of Billy Morrison’s latest album, The Morrison Project, out now.
