Parkway Drive pulled off a jaw-dropping promotional stunt ahead of the home release of their June 9th, 2025 concert with a full orchestra at Sydney’s iconic Opera House. That night, the metalcore powerhouse performed a black tie show at the legendary venue, capturing it for their forthcoming live film, Home: Live At The Sydney Opera House.
A teaser site for the release is now live at parkwaydriverock.com. To kick off the promotion in spectacular fashion, frontman Winston McCall was filmed rappelling from a Parkway Drive-branded helicopter onto the top of the Sydney Opera House. You can check out footage and photos from the stunt below.
While an exact release date for Home hasn’t been announced, Parkway Drive confirmed it will arrive in 2026 as both a live concert film and album. A teaser video is available on the site mentioned above.
The setlist for that orchestral performance included:
Act I:
- “Home Is For The Heartless”
- “Glitch”

How metal heads have changed since the 90s. Early 2000s.
Jacob how cool.
Or you could just make good music again
Johnny Depth music is just fine. If you like the old stuff more, just listen to the old stuff…
Daniel Gray great advice couldnt figure it out on my own
Johnny Depth I am aware. By your comment, it looked like you were stuck.
Johnny Depth pretty accurate
I wonder which means good and which is bad to you。

Delusions of grandeur
Daniel Blank jealous? Does what he wants.
Lee Hall not jealousy , I was being direct champion. Greater people than whoever this muppet is don’t need the centre of attention spectacle that this guy is engaging in . Sorry to have upset you lol
He didn’t rappel though did he. He was lowered by a safety cable while holding a rope.
Couldn’t help but notice that. Safety rope that stopped him from falling if the helicopter bounced around in the wind. They call it “fast roping” for a reason; you’re not meant to be on that rope for more than a couple of seconds
