PEACEMAKER FL Address Arrest Of Former Guitarist Joseph Schultz On Charges Involving Child Sexual Content & More

Peacemaker FL have issued a public statement following the arrest of their former guitarist Joseph Schultz. The 24-year-old musician—who previously played in Tactosa—was taken into custody on October 17th, 2025, in Volusia County, FL. According to inmate records from the county’s Division Of Corrections, Schultz is facing 20 total charges, including 15 counts of possession of sexual performance by a child (enhanced), along with five counts connected to possessing pornographic content involving animals.

As reports began circulating on Reddit and social media today, November 25th, the band addressed the situation directly, clarifying that Schultz had already been removed from their lineup before the allegations surfaced:

“Joseph Schultz is no longer a part of Peacemaker. We removed him from the lineup 2 months ago, before the recent reports surfaced. Peacemaker has always stood firmly against the kind of vile behavior now being alleged. Our music has never shied away from calling it out, we write about confronting and destroying it in our lyrics, and that’s woven into who we are. Our principles aren’t changing and our stance on this is permanent. We are focusing on what’s ahead and gearing up for a massive 2026. See you soon.”

Tactosa previously disbanded in 2023 following separate disturbing allegations against then-vocalist Kyle Weeden.
