Former Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie bassist Piggy D has officially unveiled his latest musical project, Gabi And The Fly.
The newly launched sludge metal outfit pairs Piggy D with vocalist Gabriella Lindland, who is also known for her work with Guttrott and Velvet Dolls. The band made their debut today, May 15th, with the release of their five-track demo, “Initiation Of Decay”, which arrived through Bandcamp.
Alongside the demo release, Gabi And The Fly also premiered a music video for the track “Devil’s Chain.”
The project leans heavily into murky, riff-driven sludge metal territory, marking a darker and more abrasive direction for Piggy D following his previous work in hard rock and industrial metal circles.
