P.O.D. Begin Recording New Album With Producer Will Yip

Rap-rock veterans P.O.D. have officially started tracking their 12th studio album, with sessions now underway in Pennsylvania.

This time around, the band are working with acclaimed producer Will Yip, known for his work with Turnstile and Circa Survive, marking a new creative partnership for the group.

Guitarist/vocalist Marcos Curiel confirmed the recording sessions via social media, revealing that this is the first time P.O.D. have recorded an album outside of their native California.

Curiel shared his excitement about the process, writing:

“New Music Alert
New @pod record is in full effect w/ producer extraordinaire @willyipmusic
Who’s ready to hear some big tunes?!
Fun fact: This is the 1st P.O.D. Record to be tracked outside of California. Philly we definitely in the mix. Lets gooo !”

At this stage, no release date or further details have been announced for the follow-up to the band’s 11th studio album, as production continues.

With Will Yip at the helm and a new recording environment in play, P.O.D. appear to be entering a fresh creative phase for their upcoming record.
