Details surrounding Poison The Well’s long-awaited new album have surfaced early, just ahead of the band’s official announcement scheduled for January 13.
The influential Florida metalcore outfit’s first new studio album since 2009 is titled ‘Peace In Place’ and is set for release on March 20 via SharpTone Records. A listing for the record has already appeared on Apple Music, revealing the album artwork, full track listing, and production credits.
According to the listing, the band worked with GRAMMY Award-winning producer Will Putney (Body Count, Better Lovers) on the album, marking a major collaboration for the comeback release.
While Poison The Well returned last year with a new track, “Trembling Level,” the song is not featured on ‘Peace In Place’. Instead, a new track titled “Thoroughbreds” is expected to debut online tomorrow as the album’s first official single.
‘Peace In Place’ track listing:
01 – “Wax Mask”
02 – “Primal Bloom”
03 – “Thoroughbreds”
04 – “Everything Hurts”
05 – “Weeping Tones”
06 – “A Wake Of Vultures”
07 – “Bad Bodies”
08 – “Drifting Without End”
09 – “Melted”
10 – “Plague Them The Most”
Unfortunately for the band, this rollout has already hit a few snags. In addition to the album details leaking early, Ticketmaster recently revealed several dates tied to the band’s upcoming touring plans, suggesting that more announcements were intended to follow in a more controlled fashion.
