Poppy has shared a new track, “Guardian”, giving fans another glimpse of her forthcoming seventh studio album, Empty Hands. The song and its accompanying visualizer dropped online today, December 4th, with the video directed by Orie McGinness (Bad Omens, Volumes), who also helmed her recent “Bruised Sky” clip.
Produced and co-written by former Bring Me The Horizon keyboardist Jordan Fish, “Guardian” continues the sonic direction Poppy has been exploring, blending her signature experimental pop-metal elements with atmospheric layers. The full album, Empty Hands, is scheduled for release on January 23rd via Sumerian Records.
Fans can check out the visualizer now on Poppy’s official YouTube channel, marking another step toward her highly anticipated 2026 release.
