Portrayal Of Guilt Announce New Album ‘… Beginning Of The End’, Release Two Singles & Reveal Spring North American Tour

Austin, TX blackened post-hardcore collective Portrayal Of Guilt have announced details for their upcoming full-length album ‘… Beginning Of The End’, which is scheduled to arrive April 24th via Run For Cover Records.

Previewing the record, the band have released two new singles — the boom bap-inspired, rhythm-forward “Ecstasy” and the darker, industrial-leaning “Human Terror”. A music video for “Ecstasy”, directed by Craig Murray, accompanies the release and showcases the group’s continued expansion into more experimental sonic territory.

Recording sessions for the album took place during the first half of 2025 with producer Philip Odom (Militarie Gun, Scowl), while acclaimed engineer Will Yip (Trapped Under Ice, Circa Survive) handled mastering duties.

Alongside the album announcement, the avant-garde outfit have also confirmed a North American headlining tour set to launch this spring. The run will feature rotating support from Street Sects, pageninetynine, Taraneh, Halloween, and The Infinity Ring across select dates. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 06th at 10:00am local time.
