Mysterious Masked Outfit PRESIDENT Make Their Live Debut at This Weekend’s ‘Download Festival’

Mysterious new outfit PRESIDENT officially took the stage for the first time today, June 15th, during the closing day of this year’s Download Festival. The enigmatic group—who have drawn comparisons to Sleep Token for their cryptic imagery and covert rollout—managed to generate substantial buzz in recent months ahead of their debut ‘rally.’

So far, PRESIDENT have released two singles: “In The Name Of The Father“ and “Fearless“, both of which were included in today’s five-song set. Speculation continues to swirl around the identity of the band’s masked frontman, with many fans suggesting Charlie Simpson (Busted, Fightstar) might be behind the mic. However, a recently released music video—seemingly designed to disprove that theory—has added even more fuel to the fire, with some considering it a well-placed red herring.
