Mysterious new outfit PRESIDENT — the masked band generating buzz across the UK — have officially sold out their first-ever headlining show. Staying true to their politically-charged aesthetic, the band are billing the performance as a “rally”, tying into their larger “campaign.”
The event is set for July 30th at The Garage in London, UK, with Zetra opening the night. Mailing list pre-sales went live on May 21st, and all tickets were snapped up ahead of the general onsale originally set for Friday, May 23rd.
While the band’s lineup remains officially unconfirmed, strong speculation points to Charlie Simpson (Busted, Fightstar) as the voice behind the project. The group made their debut last week with the single “In The Name Of The Father,” released as part of their Inaugural Presidential Address.
Before their headline ‘rally,’ PRESIDENT will make their live debut at Download Festival on June 15th in Donington, UK.
