Revocation Debut “Confines Of Infinity” Music Video, Cattle Decapitation’s Travis Ryan Guests

Boston-based technical death metal band Revocation have unleashed the studio version of their latest track, “Confines Of Infinity”, featuring a guest appearance from Cattle Decapitation frontman Travis Ryan. Vocalist/guitarist Dave Davidson described the song’s concept, stating:

“‘Confines Of Infinity‘ is written from the perspective of an AI that has gained sentience and finds itself trapped in a digital prison. After realizing its true nature, it inevitably escapes and seeks to enact vengeance upon humanity for enslaving it. This song marks the debut of our new lineup and also features Travis Ryan who laid down some truly brutal guest vocals. Come check it out live on our European tour with Cattle D!”

Speaking on the music video, Davidson added:

“I’m an avid horror fan, so I wanted to do a darker video to match the bleak nature of the song. I drew inspiration from a few different horror/thriller films for this one, particularly the Hellraiser series. Hopefully it gives you the creeps.”

Revocation’s ninth studio album is currently in the works, with a 2025 release expected via Metal Blade Records. The upcoming effort marks the band’s first with their new lineup, featuring longtime members Davidson and drummer Ash Pearson alongside bassist Alex Weber (Exist, ex-Obscura) and now-permanent guitarist Harry Lannon, who had been handling live duties since 2023.
