Following the October 2025 departure of longtime drummer Dave McClain, veteran thrash band Sacred Reich initially brought in Eduardo Baldo as a temporary fill-in. After a few weeks on the road, the band has confirmed Baldo as their permanent drummer.
In a statement issued December 03rd, the band shared:
“We would like to officially welcome our new drummer Eduardo Baldo to the band. Baldo played the recent shows in Europe with us and crushed it! He’s a great dude and fit right in with us. We are excited to move forward with Baldo behind the kit bringing his own style, enthusiasm and power. Welcome to SACRED REICH!
As an added bonus today is Baldo’s birthday! Let’s all wish him a very happy birthday!
We are finishing up mixing our new album ‘Into the Abyss’ and making plans for July and August in Europe. Looking forward to a killer 2026!”
Sacred Reich are currently finishing mixing their upcoming album Into The Abyss, with European tour dates planned for July and August 2026. Fans can expect the band to bring both classic thrash fury and fresh energy with Baldo behind the kit.
