Grunge revivalists Scarhaven have newly shared their latest single, “Clouds,” alongside a music video directed by Briana Sista.
The band describe the track as a look at a relationship that has begun to deteriorate, focusing on the emotional toll of being taken for granted while the other person dismisses their partner’s ambitions and desire to grow.
Scarhaven offered the following explanation of the song:
“‘Clouds’ is about a relationship that’s dying and how one person is being taken advantage of while the other just disrespects their dreams and goals to better themselves. It’s about a dying love and how smoking blurs the lines of what’s real and what isn’t.”
