Scatterbrain, the new project fronted by former I Prevail vocalist Brian Burkheiser, have landed a major placement as their latest single “BITTER” has been selected as the official theme song for All Elite Wrestling’s ‘Redemption’ pay-per-view.
The event is set to take place on July 26 from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, with “BITTER” serving as the soundtrack to the promotion’s latest marquee event.
The placement continues AEW’s growing trend of spotlighting modern metal, hardcore and alternative acts across its programming. In recent months, the wrestling promotion has leaned heavily into the heavy music scene, using Turnstile’s “Never Enough” as the official theme for ‘Revolution’, while SPEED’s “The First Test” was featured during ‘Grand Slam: Australia.’ Earlier this year, Dying Wish’s “I Don’t Belong Anywhere” was also selected as the theme song for a special episode of AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage.
For Scatterbrain, the placement marks another significant milestone as the band continues to build momentum following its launch. Burkheiser unveiled the project after departing I Prevail, with “BITTER” quickly becoming one of the band’s most notable releases to date.
With AEW Redemption set for tomorrow night, “BITTER” is poised to introduce Scatterbrain to an even wider audience as the promotion continues its embrace of contemporary heavy music.
