Former I Prevail vocalist Brian Burkheiser has unveiled another new chapter of his post-band creative output, debuting the latest single from his SCATTERBRAIN project, “FAST LANE.”
The track arrives alongside a music video directed by Ben Proulx and marks the second original release under the SCATTERBRAIN banner. It follows last month’s debut single “PHASES,” which introduced Burkheiser’s new artistic direction after a turbulent period that included legal matters tied to his departure from I Prevail and a focus on mental health treatment throughout 2025.
“FAST LANE” continues to showcase the evolving sound of SCATTERBRAIN, blending alternative heaviness with a more personal and experimental edge compared to Burkheiser’s previous work.
The release signals continued momentum for the project as Burkheiser moves forward creatively following his recovery period and transition into this new musical era.
