Scowl have expanded on their latest album, Are We All Angels, with the release of a new three-track remix EP featuring contributions from Machine Girl, Sextile, and Model/Actriz.
The release includes fresh takes on “B.A.B.E.” and “Special,” reimagining the melodic hardcore band’s songs through a club-inspired electronic lens.
Announcing the project on social media, Scowl shared:
“We’re so excited to announce the Are We All Angels remixes.
It’s an honor to work with artists whom we have spent tons of sleepless nights blasting through tour van speakers. During the writing process of AWAA we dreamt up what it would be like to have these songs remixed into something you might hear at the club and the reality has been such a pleasant surprise. It’s a treat to collaborate with artists that make music so uniquely engaging. We want to express our utmost gratitude to Machine Girl, Sextile, and Model/Actriz!
We hope you dance until your mind goes numb,
Scowl”

The remix EP follows Scowl’s recently released Devo cover and signals the band is ramping back up after spending much of the year away from the spotlight.
