Christian alternative metal outfit Scroll Eater have officially signed with Facedown Records, marking a new chapter for the emerging group. To coincide with the announcement, the band have also premiered a Jonathan Franco-directed music video for their track “Consume The Scroll.”
The band’s name and overall aesthetic are reflected in the song and its accompanying visual, with Scroll Eater describing their sound as a heavy, atmospheric interpretation of their faith.
“A prophetic metal project forged in scripture. The sound moves with that same weight: doom-heavy, atmospheric, unafraid of silence or collapse, built to carry a burden rather than perform one. Revelation made loud, born from divine burden.”
“Consume The Scroll” serves as an introduction to Scroll Eater’s latest era under the Facedown Records banner.
